采用新一代子宫内膜射频消融，研究最佳的热损伤模式。利用动物组织模型和离体子宫，以及组织损伤染色技术实际测试热损伤的模式和分布，结果将实际用于新器械的临床前和临床研究。

美国卡迪雅医疗系统公司(Cardea Medsystems, Inc.)，创始人，总裁。美国美敦力(Medtronic)公司，资深首席工程师(Senior Principal Engineer)。美国强生公司(Johnson & Johnson) ，首席工程师(Principal Engineer)，项目经理(Program manager)。美国国家标准与技术研究院(National Institute of Standards and Technology), 客坐科学家。中科院低温技术实验中心(现理化技术研究所)低温技术研究室主任, 副研究员，学术委员会秘书。中科院物理所凝聚态物理专业博士学位。
拥有十项授权美国发明专利；三项授权中国发明专利。尚有18 项发明专利正在审批之中。发表四十余篇学术论文。2005 年获得由美国商业周刊（Business Week）和美国工业设计协会（The Industrial Design Society of America）颁发的国际设计杰出奖（The International Design Excellence Awards）金奖。
